🦃 Pamlico Preserve Turkey Shoot – October 4th
Mark your calendars for The Pamlico Preserve Turkey Shoot on Saturday, October 4th from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM!
Registration will begin at 9:30 AM. Join us at the intersection of Florence Rd. and Timber Point Dr. in Merritt, NC (GPS: 35°07'52.0"N 76°41'34.4"W). 📍View on Google Maps.
The shoot will feature 12-gauge and 20-gauge shotguns only, with ammo provided.
Participation is just $5 per round. There will be meat rounds, prize rounds, kids’ rounds with BB guns, and a Championship Round for a cash prize.
Rounds begin at 10:00 AM and run every 15 minutes until 12:45 PM, with 8 adult shooters per round and 5 youth shooters per BB gun round. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to your scheduled round.
This is a family-friendly community event with food and drinks available (donations appreciated), a firetruck display, and local vendors onsite.
All proceeds will directly benefit the Whortonsville Volunteer Fire Department to purchase a lifesaving defibrillator machine.
